My provider does not have webpages. I'm just looking for a place to
post a few photos and my homepage which is just a place to promote a
small private non-profit animal shelter, and mostly list the animals
up for adoption. I've had this site on both 50megs.com and
geocities.com, but they have so much garbage advertising and popups
that the site itself gets lost. I have since removed the site from
those two. I do not need much space, something like 3 megs is more
than enough. I'd prefer to avoid the "blog" type sites, and just
maintain a regular website. Free is preferred, but if it's just a few
bucks a year, I might consider it. Anyone know of such a site?
I dont mind if they have an advertising header, just not all the
popups and java script crap that literally burys the site, which both
of those two did. I probably got more complaints from people than any
use, because people complained the site was all junk. I had to agree
with them, but explained it was not my fault. I'd spend hours making
a nice looking and informative site, and half the page was covered
with garbage and all the text and pictures would get scrambled.
Thanks for all help.
