Unexpected kernal mode trap loop

I'm stuck in an unexpected kernal mode trap loop that continually restarts my computer. It doesn't give me time to get to the startup apps to turn them off or to pause with task manager. I'm pretty certain it's a Microsoft update issue. What should I do?
