Sophos Antivirus- "could not contact server"

hi, recently i installed Sophos antivirus and everything worked fine, but
recently i see the Sopho's icon in the notification tray with a red "X" mark
on it, i clicked "update now" but all i see is the message "could not contact
server," could anyone help me enable or fix the problem, also i cannot open
the antivirus anymore. I have this installed on my Windows XP and Vista and
they both have this problem.

Since the problem occurs on two computers running different Windows
operating systems, your first step is to contact Sophos tech support.

Right click on the Sophos icon on the task bar and select "Configure
Updating". The documentation that came with Sophos should tell you what the
server settings should be.
