I have not been able to make purchases on microsoft because it says I need to ask a parent for permission but I am not in a family

I have been trying to buy more storage for my computer and it will let me put my card info in then when I hit continue it says there was an error because of a parent lock. I am not in a family account, and do not have a "parent email" connected to my account to even contact, so I am not sure how to resolve this.
