video tdr failure, nvlddmkm.sys bsod

Every time I try to play a game, I get a blue screen of death after about 10 minutes. on the bsod, it says:stop code: VIDEO TDR FAILUREwhat failed: nvlddmkm.sysI have tried so many things to resolve this issue, including factory resetting my pc. can anyone help me with this?
