I have learned to be extremely careful in specifying a path when I open and store a document, but Windows 11 ignores the path and sticks the file in bizarre places. Yesterday I stored a file in a specific location. Today I tried to find the file, and it was not where I put it. I searched for it and found the EXACT SAME FILE in FOUR DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, NONE OF WHICH WAS WHERE I told Windows to put it. This happens with Word .doc files, Paint .png files, Excel files, et al.
