Photo numbering problem.

For years when I took screenshots of a game it had a description of that screenshot provided by the game. Now get a sequential numbering system. How can I go back the the previous system and let the app determine the identifying number? This change happened several years ago. I wish to go back to the old format for any new screenshots taken. There are no settings within the app/game for this. These screenshots are saved to a separate drive than the system drive. Older preferred format determined by the app/game Current format
