I moved a games folder from Program files in drive C to drive D

I did this because the game needed more storage than i had available in C to i moved to D which was successful (does not seem to allow screenshots)however the game was still in drive C, as i cut it to move to D. i was wondering if i could delete that "copy" in drive C and keep the one in D? As it is taking up storage in C
