Windows + shift + s freezes monitor.

Sometimes, when i use the win + shift + s shortcut, it may freeze the monitor until i restart the device. I have tried resetting snip and sketch, but that has not fixed the problem. What can i do to fix this?This typically happens when taking a screenshot of a very small selected area, it almost never happens with a large selected area.
