Why does the Wi-Fi for the whole house stop working when I turn on my computer

So each time I turn on my computer and it connects to the Wi-Fi not only does my computer disconnect shortly after but the entire houses Wi-Fi stops working nobody can connect for a short time then it comes back on for a minute or so then stops working again. I don't understand why this is happening and it's annoying me and my family could someone please help.
