Wifi driver issue

Hi, i am currently facing issues with the Realtek rtl8723be 802.11 bgn wifi adapter. This is on my laptop and my wifi signal strength shown on my laptop is very poor. No matter how nearby the wifi network is or personal hotspot is, the strength is always poor. Neither troubleshooting nor uninstalling and reinstalling the driver fixed the issue. Could anyone please suggest me on how to proceed about this?
