The latest windows version has basically taken away the option to not combine icons on the task bar. I prefer to see every single window that I have open on the task bar so I can easily click (just 1 click) between the different windows that I'm working on. Even if they are just a sliver, I can usually tell what window I'm looking for by the color and 1-2 letters of the file name. Now, if I have it set up to never combine, it will create a three dot overflow that I have to click on and then hover over program icons to see the windows open in that app and then hover over each window to see t
