I cannot sign into micro with my password

Hello I have been trying to sign into my Microsoft Windows 10 account (not sure if that is relevant) and it keeps on showing me “next time you sign into this computer… We’ll need your current windows password one last time” o read on another post that someone had the same issue and left the field blank which I thought worked but then it just takes me too a page that says 'Oops something went wrong'Please help
