Cannot connect to 5GHz

Hello,I have a hyper optic broadband which supports 5ghz, however i cannot seem to connect to it, only the 2.4ghz option shows upI have the "realtek rtl8192ee wireless lan 802.11n pci-e nic" network adapter and was wondering if this was preventing me from connecting to 5GHz. If so, what steps should i do to solve the issue? (Change adapters? Delete Realtek and install a new one? - If so which one should i change to ? Thanks
