Yesterday I discovered a folder with a VERY long name, on my D: drive.I couldnt rename it, and when I right clicked it opened some applications, or crashed file explorer.sfc/scannow showed no issues, and chkdsk /f did not fix the issue. (chkdsk report below)ccleaner didnt show anything unexpected.I've checked the hard drive and its fine.Even the evnt log shows nothing unusual.Finally I managed to delete it - but I'm concerned there must be an underlying issue.I have windows defender - no other antivirus - and I'm currently running a customised scan.The PC is running W11 and fully updated.Are
