Dual boot windows10 and ubuntu 24.04. cant see files copied form external hardisk to local disk.

I have windows and ubuntu 24.04 in my laptop. i have created 5 partitions and installed ubuntu in of the partitions. i have an external hardrisk and i have copied files from external harddisk to two partitions when am in ubuntu .After restarting I see the space is occupied but i cant see those folders and files in both ubuntu and windows . i dont have a backup too.
