Hi, have a fairly old HP laptop which hasn't been used for some time. Its got Win 8.1 installed and I'm not able to up date Chrome with this OS. So, I read somewhere that upgrading to Win 10 is free of charge so I went ahead and did that from the Microsoft portal. I've now booted into Win 10, but I cannot activate it as I don't have a product key. I then found this..... "There is no current upgrade route from Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10.
