Microsoft remote desktop connection

I am trying to uninstall Microsoft remote desktop connection from my laptop. After I click the uninstall option, a box asking "do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device"? Only way to uninstall is clicking yes. What exactly happens if I click "yes"? I am trying to make my personal device more secure. I don't need assistance from a remote device. Thank you.
