rebooting from boot log disc

I have a Gateway CPU it had windows 98se version installed before I dumpped
it. I have misplaced my reboot floppy. I tried to download a boot disc
download from my other computer ( XP ) to a disc but that didn't work, The
Gateway has a CD-Rom drive. I went to the bios screen but I don't know to
much about that screen. I really wanted to install windows ME on this
Gateway, but at this point I'll just be glad to get the windows 98se version
up and running again. Thanks

Assuming you have the instal CD, you can download the
correct boot floppy for any of these from www.bootdisk.com.
Be careful because there are several varieties. You just
download the single EXEcutable file, put a floppy into the
drive then execute the EXE file.
