Laptop running slow

Hi, I am having some issues with my display drivers in my laptop. Basically when I go to device manager and disable my graphics card (intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics) my computer runs fine but when I enable it the computer runs very slow. So slow that I can't even open chrome as it keeps freezing. I have had it fixed once before and it looks like all they did was disable the graphics driver so that it would run fine. Please tell me a way to fix this. Thanks
