Old pictures do not show thumbnail while newly moved pictures do and have two circular arrows in their file name

Basically, my old files in my Pictures folder does not show their thumbnail anymore, while newly downloaded or moved pictures have thumbnail and has these circular arrows in their filename after moving them to the Pictures folder. How can I fix this? It's kind of bothering me.I'm going to put a link here since I couldn't upload because of some error.
