I have put Windows 8.1 back on my main computer because Windows 10 has now re-booted overnight for updates 3 times and lost my work, Windows 8.1 allows me to download updates and choose when to install them, goodness knows why Windows 10 won't do that.I installed from my original retail DVD using the card included with it with the product key on. Installation was fine but I now keep getting messages that it can't activate, the latest saying is is an update version, which it isn't.I cannot find out how to activate by 'phone.Are the activation servers down?
