Laptop is dead and can’t access OneDrive files.

my laptop is totally dead. I want to access my OneDrive files that were created on the laptop on my old desktop. I also have OneDrive on the desktop but it does not contain the same files as the laptop. I do not need the files that are currently on the desktop. So far as I know, I used the same credentials on both the laptop and the desktop. My account seems to only have a record of the desktop though I have been using only the laptop for a long time. My account was created when MS took over Hotmail. How do I handle this?
