How can I stop constantly getting pestered with the "reconnect your drive" warning that often reappears as soon as its closed?

Please do not respond with the benefits of using Onedrive or any other backup device as that is not my question. I just want to know how to stop this extremely annoying notification from appearing and reappearing without having to disable all the other notifications from "security and maintenance" where it originates. Thanks...
