windows 10 headset microphone showing disconnected in control panel even though it's connected

hi,i am ribika. recently i have found an issue with the microhphone of my headset as it's mic is not working with the laptop only. i recieve the output sound but the input sounds doesn't go i checked if my drivers are up todate or not and in the control panel it shows they are updated also i updated any new updates in the windows update option in settings but still my mic is not working
