Outlook and Family Safety permission troubleshooting.

I am trying to give my child access to Windows Outlook on our Asus Vivobook, that had access and runs Microsoft Family Safety. Recently Outlook updated and now I can't give them access. The request goes to MS Family Safety, I approve and then it refuses to open and it states you need permission. This just goes on and on. I tried to open Outlook on the browser and the installed app the exact same thing happens on either. Please assist.
