I updated my NVIDIA GeFORCE RTX 2070 graphics driver after the updater said there was a new version available.Immediately after rebooting I started to have issues.Firstly, after restarting the laptop (Asus GX502L I7) it became extremely slow. I knew something was up when the Windows "start-up chimes" sounded really slow and glitchy. Also, the laptop became roasting hot to the touch -- literally almost too hot to type on.
