Game Bar not only won't open normally, but I can't record

Won't open via Windows + G. And when I open using the Game Bar app, I can't record.Tellingly, when I did open via Windows + G, I thought I was recording, but it WASN'T. Then it told me I couldn't record because I was already recording. Now it won't record anything.And the drive is free, so it hasn't been filling up HD space with some unknown video.
