Performance Issue (Frames Per Second)

When I Play Rocket League I get an average of 200 FPS, When I play Roblox I get an average of 100 - 120 FPS. When I unplug the GPU, I get an average of 18 FPS on Rocket League, 50 on Roblox. Why is that? I can hear the fans on my GPU runs faster when I play Rocket League so clearly it's working harder when I play Rocket League.
