change file storage defaults from OneDrive to User

How can I storage from c:\users\me\OneDrive\* to c:\users\me\* ? I have uninstalled OneDrive already. Another user asked about OneDrive\Desktop re-appearing and was told to change registry key in HKCU File Explorer, but there are many there, perhaps waiting to break File Explorer, and with it Windows.
