The issue started a few months ago where my PC will "blink" or the display would turn off then back on really quickly. At first it happened intermittently so I thought nothing of it until it happened more and more often and sometimes it would just happen multiple times a minute. It seems to happen mostly when there is a YouTube video in a tab on Firefox and I am alt-tabbing between windows. I looked up this issue and the answer I found was to turn off vsync with my graphics card; I tried that but it didn't change anything.
