How can I get wifi from my Lockscreen?

Hello! I’m having trouble logging into my computer, it was my brothers and he can’t remember the pin, I also can’t change it because I need wifi, I’ve clicked on the little symbol at the corner of my screen so I could log into the wifi but all it shows up with is a greyed out airplane mode symbol. So basically, to put it in short: I don’t know the pin, I can’t use the internet because it won’t let me access it (greyed out airplane mode) Anyone else having this issue?
