Audio not working??

i’ve just upgraded my cpu and i don’t get any audio from my headphones, however when connecting my pc to a tv instead of my monitor i do get sound??? (from my headphones), i’ve tried using hdmi instead of display port on my monitor and it doesn’t seem to mark a difference
