Win8 Achievements Not Syncing

I have been playing some win8 games this week and all xbox achievements were unlocking no problem. As of two days ago, any achievement unlocked is not syncing to xbox live. I’ve tried rebooting the game and my laptop, and tried uninstalling/reinstalling. Is there an issue with the win8 server, and if so is there a status when it will be back online?
