Files lost after update - win11

After an update I noticed that all of my files in my User folder are gone. Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, etc. Restarting the computer 4 times (as observed in some posts) has not helped. There is no .bak user in the registry.The ProfileImagePath is C:\Users\<correct user> I've tried the windows file recovery with no avail. Tried DMDE which also was not able to find any of my old files. Lost in terms of what to try next. Thanks.
