I have a new installed system in a brand new SSD after problems with my old drive, I needed the Japanese input keyboard so I had set to download it a few days ago. Today when I needed to use it i'm unable to switch to kana typing, i get the notification pop up message: "Japanese IME is not ready yet. Please check the status from language settings".Doing so on the language settings says that the language pack is still on "Pending", clicking details shows the Basic writing, Handwriting and Speech downloads to "Searching for language features".
