Cloud backup problem with Windows 10 and Zoolz

I back up to the cloud using a product called Zoolz. Recently my backup has doubled in size for no apparent reason. Zoolz keeps up to 10 copies of a file, if it has been modified since last backup. However, Zoolz seems to be backing up files that have not been modified since last backup. Zoolz support say that Windows must be sending them wrong info. regarding modification date and problem is with windows. Is this a known Windows 10 problem or is Zoolz at fault? Any advice gratefully received.
