System tries to update firmware everytime I startup my laptop but i don't have a battery how do I stop this from appearing every startup now?

I didn't update my laptop firmware for a while everything was fine, until now everytime I turn on my computer the firmware update thing pop up but isn't I supposed to restart for it to update? This is a startup how can this happen? Can someone help me stop this firmware update everytime I turn on my computer?
