I have a large external monitor and a small laptop screen. While working, I have multiple programs open but none of the windows are maximized. Because the laptop screen is so small, when I drag a window from the monitor to the laptop screen, the window is too large vertically and horizontally and I need to manually move the window around and resize it. On a mac operating system, the window is automatically resized if it's moved from a larger to a smaller screen so that the entire window remains visible, and no resizing is required.
