My son set up 2-factor on his Windows account but they won't send codes to his email. He is locked out of his computer and MS account.

Attempts to set a new password do not work. When you click "get a new code" nothing comes. When logging into his computer, we get an error that says MS cannot send him a new code. The email address associated with the account is a Gmail account, which we have access to. It worked fine until it didn't. Now he has no access to his computer or his MS account. The most immediate need is access to his computer, which is less than one week old. Thanks for your help.
