I am replacing my old Intel based gaming rig with a new AMD one that I am building. I would like to transfer my existing license to the new rig. I also have an older Windows 10 PC I no longer use with a retail license, more on that later. I would like to attempt a recovery (from an Acronis backup) on my old Intel PC to my new AMD PC as I prefer to not do a clean install unless I absolutely have to. Acronis provides a tool to make a copy for installation on different hardware but I have never used it. Once the new PC is up and running (hopefully) I can deactivate the license on my old gaming PC
