how to fix "something went wrong / try again"

could i get help to fix a common problem with my microsft account my trouble is that whenever i try to log into a third party for hosting your game minecraft im greeted with "something went wrong/ try again it only says the prvious words and i have no idea how to fix it i could use some help"
