So everything was working but when I tried opening one of my files, it said it was corrupted. I tried to delete the file and it didn’t work. Tried the CHKDSK method to try and fix the issue but it ended up causing things to crash. I tried restarting my computer and come to find out when I have the external hard drive connected, it refuses to let the computer start up unless it’s unplugged. Once into the computer and plugging the hard drive back in, it wouldn’t show up in my file explorer despite the sound indicator that it was plugged in. I tried checking Disk Management and that wouldn’t load
