How do I set different desktop backgrounds in dualdisplay

I routinely use dual display, with a new OLED TV as my second display. I have a nice desktop photo for my main PC monitor, but I want no background (i.e. black) on the TV (2nd) monitor, to avoid burn-in problems. I've tried all of the methods suggested in this forum, but every time I try to change the TV background, it changes both. I'm using Windows 10 and it is up to date (with all the monthly updates installed).
