Sudden I/O Port conflicts Windows 10

My old HP Workstation z230 - with 32 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER and 1 TB SSD C drive (of which 300 GB is free) - has become very slow. In particular, disk operations have become extremely slow - but only some. For example, opening a folder can take 10 seconds; this happens especially the first time it is opened. But not always and I can't predict when and when not. Not all slowness is evident as disk related.SYSTEM INFORMATION tells about the conflicts below.
