Since yesterday I've been having troubles booting up my machine after it has been turned off for quite while. This suddenly happened out of nowhere, I turned on my computer ready to boot, and suddenly it turned itself off before I got to the booting screen after a few seconds. The machine turned itself on again, but yet again it turned itself off after a few seconds. The third time it turned itself on I got a message that my BIOS had been reset, and that I needed to switch from AHCI and turn on the intel rapid storage technology instead in order to avoid further problems.
