Clarification Regarding Joining Date and Payment

Hello everyone, I have just received the offer letter from Microsoft, which mentions that my joining date is October 14, 2024. I also received a call from HR (Ananya), informing me that I need to pay ₹6,000 for GST. However, I have already paid ₹66,000 for the laptop, its GST, iPhone, and insurance.
