My laptops wifi will not turn on

Hi as said in title I can not turn on my wifi on my laptop. I have a HP pavilion dv8 running windows 10. The laptop has a wi-fi light that controls everything internet that turns off and it is off so I can not turn on the internet through any method. I have no idea what to do at this point. The wifi device is Intel (R) Centrino (R) Advanced - N 6200 AGN If more info is needed please let me know.
