I don't know why but the Minecraft Launcher wont detect that i own it...

So my brother bought me minecraft from away and now for some reason the Minecraft Launcher wont realise i own it. I have it on the Xbox app and Microsoft Store but for some reason it won't budge and a worse problem is that when ever I try to verfy that i have it with the xbox website, it logs me out. It gives me the error code 0x803f8001 and stops me before the Launcher is open. Can someone help me?
