Help with RDR File system blue screen

I am a little stuck with rescuing a windows 2000 server (with exchange 2K)
which was happy to boot to safe mode, but when asking it to boot normally,
it will just give a blue screen prompting Rdr_file_system error. This
happens after it was on the "making network connection" screen for about 5
minutes in initial boot up.

I have not installed any new hardware or software and to make matter worse,
I loss the emergency repair disk!
I have also tried using the "last known good configuration" option after F8
and that failed too.

Any suggestion or help from anyone?

When you boot into safe mode what errors do you see in your event log?
